Who we are

What information we collect
When you request a quote, we store your name, e-mail address, selected products, quantities and any language variant. We also store the submission time and your acceptance of the processing of your information. Company/school, phone number, delivery address and comments are optional. The request is stored in Lovable Cloud, and an e-mail notification containing the information is sent to post@materiell.no. Please do not include sensitive personal information or information about pupils in the comments field.
Suggestions for new timelines
When you suggest a timeline, we store the theme, your name and e-mail address, any audience details and explanation, and the submission time and consent. The suggestion is stored in Lovable Cloud and sent to post@materiell.no. We use it to consider new products and possibly contact you about your idea, based on your consent in the form. This is not consent to newsletters or other marketing. You can withdraw consent and request deletion by contacting us.
Purpose
We use the information in your request to respond, prepare a quote and follow up a possible order. Processing of the request is based on the consent you give in the form. If you place an order, we process the necessary information to fulfil the contract and statutory accounting obligations. We do not use information from your request for marketing without separate consent.
Storage and service providers
We use Lovable Cloud for the website and storage of requests, together with services for sending and receiving e-mail. These services process information needed to handle your request. If you place an order, necessary information may also be used for accounting and shared with the carrier to deliver the goods. Contact us if you would like more information about the service providers and the processing of your information.
How long we keep your information
Closed quote requests that do not result in a purchase are kept for 12 months after the correspondence has ended. Materiell must then delete the request from Lovable Cloud and the related e-mail. Deletion is handled manually, not automatically. For purchases, necessary information is kept for as long as it is needed for the order and any complaints. Invoices and other accounting records covered by the five-year rule are kept for five years after the end of the financial year. Statutory records are not subject to the retention period for quote requests that do not result in an order.
Cookies and analytics
We use Lovable's built-in visitor analytics to understand overall traffic and improve the website. Reports include visit and page-view counts, visit duration, traffic sources, countries and device types. According to Lovable's documentation, analytics sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser. Each visit receives a random identifier that is discarded when the visit ends. Analytics does not build personal profiles or follow visitors across separate visits. Lovable collects analytics data through the website's own domain. Information you enter in the quote form is not part of the visitor reports.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction or deletion of your personal information, or restriction of its processing. You may also request a copy of your information where the right to data portability applies, and object where applicable. You can withdraw consent to processing your request by contacting post@materiell.no. This does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal. Some information must still be retained where required by law, such as accounting records. You may complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet).
